We are looking for an excellent:
Area Sales Manager – Valtra Tractors (Italy Center and South)
Location: anywhere in Center and South of Italy
Coordination and successful implementation of all sales and business development activities within the area of responsibility
Measure and improve dealer performance by actively formulating business plans and strategies.
Set and achieve sales budgets for the region.
Analyze and report accurately competitor market intelligence.
Manage, motivate and train dealers and their sales staff to ensure a profitable business model is achieved.
Provide the interface between the Company, its dealers and the end-user.
Understanding of the agricultural industry within Italy
knowledge of sales and marketing practices suited to the agricultural sector
knowledge of multiple franchise dealer distribution channels
The role requires a high level of understanding and operational experience in all sales disciplines
The role requires understanding of both the agricultural industry and associated business requirements
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
Experience within agricultural industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preparedness to travel as required
Fluent Italian and English
