As the Application Specialist – Configure Price Quote, you will assist with the day to day administration, communication, training and support of our dealer facing electronic tools: GSI Configurator and One GSI Dealer Portal.  

 

Your Impact 

  • Support GSI Configurator & One GSI dealer portal users via the help desk telephone & email. 

  • Maintain customer and user masters for GSI Configurator & One GSI dealer portal to ensure valid users have appropriate access.  

  • Identify, create, & deliver management reports for Configurator and One GSI dealer portal. 

  • Create and deliver training material for both applications as required, and implement help menus that will guide a user’s selections in Configurator. 

  • Support the Configure One administration team in the creation of product configurators. 

  • Test programs for proper functionality, document defects when results do not meet expected results and resolve defects & or escalate as appropriate.  

  • Maintain service parts directory in the E-Catalog module of Configurator. 

  • Create & maintain timely and accurate content for ONE GSI dealer portal and our dealer newsletter. 

  • Project Management initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure for CPQ & One GSI dealer portal projects as required.  

  

Essential Skills 

  • Intermediated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 

  • Exceptional oral/written interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills. 

  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly with a strong attention to detail. 

  • Complete work efficiently and on time by setting priorities, establishing timelines and leveraging resources. 

  • Leverage your technical expertise to solve difficult work problems and accomplish challenging goals. 

Desired Additional Skills 

  • 2 or more years of professional work experience in software end-customer support, training development and delivery, and/or formal project management. 

  • Basic proficiency in HTML web programming, JavaScript and SQL 

  • Previous experience with Configure Price Quote (CPQ) software.
