The contents of your resume should have title, contact details, objective, skills, professional experience and educational qualification.
Title: Some people find it difficult to come up with appropriate title for their resume. Your title should say who you are professionally. A candidate is easily recognized at a glance by his resume because it says something essential about him. Contact details: You must never skip your contact details, make sure that in your resume there is easy way the employer can contact you. Resume objective: You may be thinking whether to skip the resume objective. Your objective is a short description of your career goals. The only acceptable reason to skip your objective is if your goals show clearly in your professional experience. Some employers do not give much importance to it while some do. The objective should be limited to two or three sentences.
Your skills: In my experience as a recruiter for my unit, I know how we struggle to find information in a resume where key skills is either omitted or misplaced. It is the key skill that will determine if a recruiter would need to continue reading the resume or not. The list of the skills you possess will show your relevance to the type of job that you are applying for.
Your experience: The employer can only be interested in your experience only if your key skills match the mandatory skills required by the available position. It is important to list your experience in a reverse chronological order, starting with your most recent work experience and educational qualification.
State your educational background, workshop attended and certification, most especially for fresher since they do not have any work experience. Finally, the following are the key points to note in a resume if you want to impress the employer:
